Small children have a sense of entitlement. If they can see something, they have every right to own and destroy it. Reasoning with them is not possible. You can perhaps barter for your possessions back. You don’t believe me?
So I might have said the player-character in an RPG is a materialist infection in a virtual world, but I was wrong. The player-character is a small child with a sense of entitlement.
